Why had she decided to pick up some courses? She’d already graduated. She didn’t need more classes. But apparently she needed something else to do in her time aside from work. Normally, languages were easy for her, but she couldn’t manage to get the right answers. Annoyed, Meredith tossed her pencil down and watched it bounce off onto the floor.

Jac: I'm sick.

Jac: I've been sick for a week. Send help.

Greer sat on the floor of the area, her lunch resting next to her as the rest of her attention stuck on her paper and pencil as she drew. Here and there she took a sip of her drink, or a bite of her food, but it seemed all of her attention was due to the request of the showgirls, a new concept for their special performance in a week.

Richie stood off to the side in the main lobby, watching guests come and go. He watched his staff move seamlessly throughout the crowd as well. He nodded at a few who met his glance. Things seemed to be running smoothly enough for the afternoon check-in, but that didn’t mean anything. People came to Vegas to get down and dirty and he was becoming very good at accommodating them. He smirked as he saw a familiar face walk over carrying two cups of coffee. He took one without asking who it was for. “Didn’t think I’d be seeing you this early,” he greeted before he took a sip of the coffee.

Browniiiie! :: Open F2F

Someone offered her a brownie. She accepted the brownie. And she was fine for a little while. Then she just got hungry, and no one had enough food. But, she knew there would be saviors. Jaclyn had started going and asking everyone for snacks. Someone gave her another brownie. But that only made her hungrier.

“Heeeey!” Jaclyn reached the door she was looking for and started drumming on it. “Heeeeey, open up!”

Car Problems :: Open

After dark, on her way home, in a drizzle, and that was when her car decided to stop working. The engine light turned on, and all continued engine making her far move forward stopped. With enough momentum, she managed to pull her car off to the side.

Pulling on her long coat, she popped the top for the engine and got out into the drizzle. For half an hour, she stared at the engine, wishing she’d been able to learn anything about cars. Just about when she decided that she should call someone, she saw headlights pull up behind her car.

She wasn’t sure how she was carrying everything from one of the rooms. All she’d been told was she needed to do was exchange some towels with a guest on one of the upper floors. If she’d known she was going to be handed all of their room service plates and the towels, and shoes to get shined, she would have taken a cart up.

While trying to keep a plate from falling, Meredith bumped into someone, causing her to fall backwards the ground, the plates clattering to the ground. “I am so sorry. I should have been looking where I was going.” She didn’t even notice the bits of dressing that had flung free of a plate and landed on her uniform. “I’d like to say this doesn’t happen often, but I’m really actually quite clumsy. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”
