Richie’s smile grew as he sat back against the wall. He wasn’t sure how much she actually wanted to know and how much he actually wanted to tell her. “Let’s just leave it at I was a curious thirteen year old and my older cousin was very proud of his work,” he explained with chuckle. He rested his head against the wall and closed his eyes for a moment finding her presence peaceful which was welcome during his chaotic days.
“Thirteen? Shame.” She shook her head, gently tapping her lap. “I don’t think we’d get a long if I met you then, I learned to stay away from bad kids.” Greer joked, stacking the papers in her lap. “I should’ve guessed though, you have.. the look.” She added, her head leaning back but tilting to face him as her eyes squinted playfully. It could of just been that he caught her on at a good time, but before she was tired and drained, this gave her a boost of energy. But that was to be expected when Richie was around. “Are you on break?”
