Pizzagirl delivers the audio visual treat he's always dreamed of in the hilarious video for 'ball's gonna keep on rollin''.
As he explains: “the sequel to my first timer movie anthology series takes place in the smoky lanes of that bowling alley you used to go to years ago! A made for TV, Rocky-esque sports battle of the millennium, starring corruption, redemption, Denise and introducing Pizzagirl like you've never seen her before! See you in there x”
Director, Tom Chetwode-Barton, further elaborates:
“For this video Pizzagirl had loads of really strong references ranging from the Big Lebowski to Twin peaks, so we took this and really ran with it - we wanted to create something camp, psychedelic and sort of nightmarish using tropes from all our favourite 80’s films, with a bit of slapstick thrown in for good measure.” (press release)
"The process was a spontaneous collaboration between myself and Yong Chen, a great visual artist from China, after meeting in NYC only 4 weeks ago. We jumped right into shooting the video, myself shooting ambient night footage and Yong collecting various media images as well as my performance bits. The 3 part vocal concept is meant to emphasize the different characters I performed as in the song, which may not be fully recognizable to the listener but it's something I'm currently developing. The video aims to show a world in chaos --- the collective 'Cruel Times' that we are facing as a global society forced to endure climate disaster and fascism reentering political life." Granfalloon - Objects of Love
With footage taken from the intimate launch night of his new album,
the video for ‘Objects of Love’ finds Granfalloon performing the latest single as a trio within the cosy confines of The Eagle Inn in Salford.
Showcasing the current live set-up that fans can expect to see on the current Granfalloon tour, the video also sees all three members on-stage wearing Red, Green, and Blue in reference to the new album title ‘RGB’; the three elements that together make up White Light.
A cerebral and serene offering that sets the tone for the wider album, the track features guest vocals from Liverpool star Natalie McCool. Expanding the track especially for the occasion, this new ‘Objects Of Love’ video sees the band add a lush, flowing extended introduction; something unheard on the album edit, but available to hear exclusively here for the first time. The Ghost Of Helags - The Santa Rosa Song
Independently directed and filmed by the dream pop duo in their newfound home of Berlin, the DIY video follows Teresa as she journeys through the city’s historical Eastside.
Speaking about the new video John Alexander Ericson of the band says:
“The video for ‘The Santa Rosa Song’ was shot just a couple of days ago walking down Frankfurter Allee in what used to be East Berlin, hence the Soviet Union-esque architecture. The video ends up in front of the twin towers at Frankfurter Tor.”
Filmed in a Super-8 video style, the new video offers a nostalgic and reflective accompaniment to the Scandinavian duo’s serene new single. (press release)
