well pokemon takes place in some universe where animals are these cute monsters and you force them to fight each other but apparently they enjoy that and the goal is to get 'badges' from these buildings called 'pokemon gyms'
in persona you try and destroy 'the dark hour' and.. i forgot the tower's name, tartarsauce? its a dungeon of sorts. anyway, you got to stop these freaky monsters called shadows that appear during the dark hour and live in tartarsauce but you can only use a power given to you called persona (hence the name)
