Creative District’s latest $5,000 Grant Winner: My Country, No More
Tuesday night at the lovely Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, we celebrated the launch of Bright Ideas Magazine’s second issue with our friends at Seed & Spark and Film Independent. There we announced co-directors Rita Baghdadi and Jeremiah Hammerling and their team at My Country, No More as our latest $5,000 grant winners!

My Country No More is a character-driven documentary that humanizes the clash between agriculture and industry by exploring a fundamental question: what and who are we willing to sacrifice in our pursuit of progress?
The $5,000 Creative District grant will go toward the composition of the film’s score and bring them a step closer toward finishing the film this fall.
