Fitz is way too short to give either in normal situations but if you think he will not stand on a chair specifically to do this, you are wrong

Gets jealous the most

Both of them get jealous, but Leo is slightly more obvious about it. He’ll get quiet and clam up until Grant pesters him to talk. meanwhile, when Grant’s jealous, he’ll just go on a long rant once he gets drunk

Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive

Neither. If they get drunk, they’re usually together, and if they happen to get too wasted, they call Skye.

Takes care of on sick days

Fitz doesn’t like to be bothered when he’s sick. Ward can try to take care of him, but he won’t get very far. Fitz also assumes that, because he wants to be left alone when he’s sick, everyone else does, too, so he won’t even make an effort.

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day

hahahahahaha they don’t go to the beach. nowhere near the ocean. ever. never ever ever. they will, however, push each other into a controlled environment. i.e. a pool.

Gives unprompted massages

I want to say Fitz? Like, Ward would complain about training and how his neck hurts, and Fitz would get really excited like “guess what I can do with this nerve and this muscle” and everyone would assume they’re having sex because “holy shit, you’re really good at that”

Drives/rides shotgun

Ward drives. Fitz is either riding shotgun or sitting directly behind him based on who else is in the car (if anyone else is in the car)

Brings the other lunch at work

Grant “I think I finally figured out how Simmons makes that aioli try this and tell me” Ward

Has the better parental relationship

Fitz. Unless we’re talking a crazy AU where Ward actually has a decent relationship with any of his family because then I have no idea

Tries to start role-playing in bed

I’m imagining Leo, half asleep and kind of just saying “yes” to everything to shut Grant up so they can get some legitimate rest, and accidentally agreeing to some crazy, elaborate role-play and having no regrets the next day

Embarrassingly drunk dancer

Let’s just say Ward has a few videos that he’s keeping on his phone in case he needs a favor.

Still cries watching Titanic

Both of them. If Titanic is turned on, there’s probably a box of tissues nearby and they pretend to not be affected by it but really they’re emotional wrecks by the end.

Firmly believes in couples costumes

Leopold “please? I’ll even be John if you would rather be Sherlock” Fitz

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas

Both of them. “Okay, we have a $20 limit this year.” “Okay.” the gifts they get each other are easily $50 each, and that’s if they’re rounding down.

Makes the other eat breakfast

Leo burns anything that isn’t toast. on the bright side, Grant has gotten the chance to perfect his pumpkin pancake recipe with all the practice he gets

Remembers anniversaries

Ward. He’ll get up even earlier than normal to do something elaborate for anniversaries, too.

Brings up having kids

Fitz, even if it does take him a few months to get anywhere close to winning the argument that follows.

She could tell that something was wrong with him, alas, Skye wasn’t           able to determine what was making Grant wanting her to leave him alone.                                  “You don’t have to be kevlar around me.”

They could feel him. 

      Or at least — they thought that they       could feel him. They never knew if       he was looking or when he was looking,       but they knew that he had to look at       some point. It was his job, right? So       why when they turned around was he       never looking? It certainly felt as if he       was looking. If he wasn't looking then he       had to have eyes in the back of his head.       It was the only way that they could explain       the way that their hair stood up on the       back of their neck.

              After a few more beats of silence, they finally cracked.

"You know that you don't have to stand by the door the entire time." 

      Tomago's words echoed through the empty        lab. It was just them today, and they didn't        really understand why Grant needed to be        here in the first place. No one was going to        attack the Stark tower. No one was going to        come crashing through the wall and snatch        them up and be off. Tomago wasn't that        important and they knew that, so they really        didn't understand why they needed a posted        bodyguard.

"I know that you seriously have to be bored over there. And don't even try to tell me different because I know that you'll be lying.”

      More than anything, Tomago just wanted to        converse with someone, to talk about something,         anything, to keep the dull silence away. They           wished they had brought headphones with them.
