Just one more ask: How does Adian find out about his father's past with Hydra and how does he react?

Hmm...I’m thinking right around middle school age because that’s when kids are honestly the worst and the meanest. Don’t have a specific grade in mind, but maybe sixth or seventh. 

Adian’s a little smaller than the other kids his age (which skye thinks is just nature playing a trick on them because she’s adamant that he’s going to have a massive growth spurt in high school because have you seen how tall his father is?) and so naturally, he gets picked on by the older kids because of it.

Everything’s always about his height, which doesn’t really bother him that much. but then one of the older kids escalates things by bringing Adian’s family into things, namely his dad and his past. Adian’s confused at first, naturally, because as far as he knows, his dad is the best guy in the universe and can do no wrong.

The older boy is taunting him, telling him that his dad is a traitor to the country and should be in prison and that his mom is just as bad for having kids with him. It’s nothing too nasty because they are middle schoolers after all; it’s mostly just empty threats and vague taunts.

Thankfully, one of his aunts is picking him up from school that day, so he doesn’t have to face his parents right away. But when he gets home, he’s quiet for a while, barely says anything to them throughout dinner. And then right before bed he confronts them about it, demands to know what’s going on and pleading with his parents for what the other boy said to be wrong.

So they sit him down and tell him as much as they think is appropriate to tell him. They make sure to let him know that they were planning on telling him, just when he was a little older and they could do it in a safe environment and without any outside influences.

It takes Adian hardly anytime after that to recover from what he’s told. He bounces back pretty quickly and makes sure to let his dad know that he loves him, and knows that he’s not that guy anymore. That he’s the best dad in the universe, and the universe clearly knew that he would be because it let him change and marry his mom and have him.

What's the most amount of dogs the Ward family has at one time?

Not as many as Grant would like to have. He loves dogs and wants a whole bunch of them, but Skye puts a limit on having two at a time. Especially once they have kids. She doesn’t want to deal with small children and more than two dogs at the same time.

But once the kids are grown and out of the house, Grant does his best to convince Skye to get more dogs. He really wants to adopt all of the older ones from the local shelter since they won’t be as high maintenance as some of the younger dogs.

What weird things makes baby Adian laugh?

Everything, honestly. He’s a pretty chill, laid back baby, doesn’t put up much of fight when it’s time for bed or anything. So he laughs at pretty much anything and everything.

The funniest thing to them is that he immediately bursts into tears whenever Hunter is in the room. None of them can find out why, and it drives them crazy. Of course, Bobbi and Skye think it’s hilarious that Hunter terrifies Adian so much.

How does Adian react when he learns he's having a baby brother or sister?

He’s a little confused at first, because he just thought his mommy ate too much food which is why her stomach was a little bigger. But then they show him the sonogram and explain to him in the best terms they can for a three-year-old, and everything starts to make sense to him.

He’s insistent that it’s going to be a little brother because he wants to share all of his monster trucks and action figures with his little brother. Grant and Skye try to explain to him that the baby might be a girl, but he can still share his toys with his little sister.

But Adian’s adamant that it’s going to be a boy.

So, naturally, he’s upset at first when he finds out it’s a girl. But then he quickly changes gears when his sister is born and he holds her (as well as any three-year-old can) and he tells her quietly that he loves her and kisses her forehead like he’s seen his dad do to his mom so many times.

How afraid is Grant of being a father?

He’s definitely terrified when Skye first tells him. Sure, they’ve talked about it before, and she’s tried to ease some of his fears about becoming a father, but until he can actually start parenting, he’s terrified. He’s worried that he’ll inadvertently become like his own father or Garrett because those are the only two parental figures he had in his youth. And both were terrible. He worried that his child will end up hating him or resenting him for whatever reason and he does not want that to happen. At all.

What nicknames does Grant and Skye have for Adian?

Nothing too out there. 

Skye mostly uses ‘baby’, ‘sweet boy’, and other such things. Grant uses ‘bud’ a lot. For the most part they just use his name.

The rest of the team, however, like to refer to Adian as a miniature version of Grant, so there’s a whole slew of nickname surrounding that.

How do Grant and Skye react when Adian has a child of his own?

Naturally, they’re excited. Of course, Skye makes a few comments about how she doesn’t look like a grandmother despite how old she is, so it’s going to be weird for her. But she also remarks how Grant’s graying hair definitely makes him look more like a grandpa, but also super sexy.

Skye’s excited to spoil her grandchild because it’s not her kid so she doesn’t have to actually take care of them and can give them back to Adian and his wife at the end of the day. She doesn’t have to be the ultra responsible one anymore. She just has to be the fun grandma that gives the kid loads of candy and lets them stay up late.

Grant’s excited about having matching outfits with his grandchild if it’s a boy, just like he did with Adian. And if it’s a girl, he still thinks they can have matching outfits in some way, like with similar colors or patterns. He’s also just thrilled to have another baby to dote on, because he always doted on Adian when he was a baby.

Adian’s worried for his stress levels, knowing exactly what his parents can be like. He can already see the gears forming in his mom’s head in regards to all the mischief she’s going to get his child into.

Adian ask time! How does Grant react when he finds out Skye’s having a little boy?

He’s definitely a whole mix of emotions when she first tells him. Happy, because at some point in his life he’d thought about what it’d be like to have a son. Scared, because he doesn’t want his son to end up going down a similar path that he did. Amused, at how much Skye insists that their son will be a carbon copy of Grant, even if he vehemently denies it because he wants any children they have to look more like Skye because he finds her beyond gorgeous.

And after the dust settles, he begins making a plan that he most definitely keeps to himself about how he can be a better father than his own was to him.
