Like you didn’t know this was coming. There is so much wrong with Sciles right now. This season was rough on me and my ship, and it’s still not okay. It’s important not to forget that there are parts of this relationship that are canonly abusive and that Stiles never once apologized or even seemed to care that Scott died. Pretending everything is okay isn’t the right thing to do.

But all of the things I love about this ship are canon too, so it’s just as important to remember the good things as it is to criticize the bad. They love each other, they just do. It’s unquestioning and constant. Whatever problems they have or however I wished they’d have fixed things in the show, they love each other and there’s never been a clearer message in canon.

These are boys who can’t see a life without each other, whether it’s stepping into a puddle of gasoline or planning out their first apartment together. They move in sync like they share a heartbeat, muscles so used to leaning slightly to the side where the other one always stands, that the world is off balance when one is missing. It’s Stiles pounding his fists and screaming Scott’s name before collapsing in a heap, thinking that his other half is gone. It’s Scott tearing the world apart and defying the rules of magic and spirits and thousands of years of history to save his best friend from a monster when no one else thought he could. It’s the unspoken communication, the way I wish they’d talk more, the stupid laughter and dumb pranks. It’s that Scott is just as pranky and reckless and sarcastic as Stiles is always portrayed as, and that Stiles wants to be more like Scott and has no idea how. It’s Stiles’s sharp words gentling when they shakily hold hands, when Scott takes his pain without even thinking, and when Stiles faces down a man with a gun just so he can get back to Scott’s side.

Best friends to lovers, but it’s important that they’re both. They’re more than friends, more than family, more than lovers. Their world is each other and everyone else sometimes gets invited to the party, even though it’s annoying to sit through all the in jokes. This is the Scott and Stiles show and that is a canon fact. The things that are wrong with them break my heart and make me furious, because the things I love about them are everything important to me and I know what they should be together.

OTP. Forever.

Oh lord, let me tell me you feeling about Scott and Lydia. I don’t think there’s anyone on the show who compliments each other more. They’re both brilliant, they’re both leaders, they’re both fearless, they push each other to be better more than anyone else on the show. Lydia is the only one who makes Scott feel like being a werewolf is a good thing and that he can turn this awful, horrible thing that happened to him into something amazing instead of being afraid of himself. Scott does the same thing to her, helping her believe in her banshee powers and taking the steps towards being a hero no matter what Peter Hale did to the both of them. She makes him stronger, he makes her softer, they both make each other brave. They have absolute and unshakable faith in each other and throughout the show when everyone else has doubted, that has never ever changed. I honestly think they’re the perfect match.

Scott/Deucalion

Okay look, there is no way that this could be romantic, healthy, or good in any way (and shouldn’t be portrayed like that). As a badwrong, it’s fantastic. We know that all the villains (and the good guys too) are all obsessed with Scott, but Deuc has taken that to a whole different level. He’s smart enough to know he can’t control Scott like Peter wanted or own Scott like Derek tried or become Scott like Theo wanted. I don’t think that he’d necessarily be malicious, but grooming someone with all that power and potential has got to be fascinating for him. He was an alpha of other alphas, I don’t think that he’s ever really stopped wanting Scott in his pack one way or another. I think for some badwrong manipulative Daddy!kink where even Deucalion thinks he’s being genuinely sweet is the way to go here.

3.    a song tied to a specific moment in your life

oh dear... i really want to put nice memories here but my song memories that are good are all tied to like specific bits, like several months of my life every time. specific moments? all tied to my father. sorry im such a downer ; ; 

my father plays the guitar. he cant read notes but he has memorized a couple of songs he plays over and over every once in a while. he gets all melancholic and wails to it as he doesnt know english. and of course, he forced me to listen.

sometimes hed come upstairs and interrupt me and just play and be weird. hed get mad and start one of his rants if you didnt smile and listen. 

it reminds me of anxiety and fear and rising hopelessness.

The House of the Rising Sun  was one of those songs. i link the guitar version because it is really beautiful. and it angers me because he ruined many a good song for me. listen to it. its gorgeous.
