I'm not sure how to say this, but I wanted to explain why I [both blogs @grapecaseschoices and @grapecase] might be around less the next few days -- or longer.
My Goddaughter's sibling passed away. Today was the funeral. It was hard because I'm sad for my family, funerals almost always make me cry, and her sib was just in her late 20s.
But the thing that probably made it more difficult for me is the fact that my mother passed away October of last year.
I don't want to get into it --- but it has certainly been a process. And the process, let us just say, is weighing more heavily on me today. [It could also be because I slept like shit last night, lol.]
Anyway, I don't want to talk about it. I just didn't want anyone to worry should I disappear or to agonize over the vague post I was gonna originally post. So I'm going for the straight-forward yet verbal route, lol.
I really appreciate the connections I've grown with yall from the past year [or more] to the past few months. And I know y'all care, and I am so grateful for it. It has helped me through a lot.
I just don't have it in me to converse about this or talk about this [any more than I currently am]. I just wanted people to know if I don't comment to something that while it may be deliberate [but more likely isn't, I've been really bad at keeping with things of late or catching '@'; I just won't let myself stress out about it .... or try not to. And will probably step away if I get to that] but it isn't malicious.
