One thing I noticed rereading the pjo series then reading the 2nd Magnus Chase book is that the gods are portrayed more seriously. Like in pjo they're something to be feared and respected (and annoyed with as Percy got older) but in mcga they're just kind of silly and a little hard to take seriously.

i haven’t read mcga yet, but i can definitely see that. they felt less serious in even just hoo, and i know we joke about how names stopped becoming important, but i hope rick somehow gets back to how powerful and scary gods can be

Dear God I hope he WOULD tell Pidge??? I mean... better she finds out from her team rather than the Galra or ends up walking into a trap because, y’know, she trusts her dad? Obviously it would be rough breaking the news and she probably wouldn’t believe him, at least not at first, but that’s not something he can keep to himself.

Although, it’s an interesting point to consider that Pidge KNOWS the Garrison tried to cover up what really happened on Kerberos - I wonder if SHE’S started wondering what else they might be hiding... and if it’s occurred to her that her dad might have been involved in such a cover-up in the past.

Unless it's a joke that all parties are okay with, you shouldn't label your support for them as "shipping" them. It's just.. so fucking creepy and makes you sound like a 12 year old who just discovered their first fandom. The YOI fandom seems to really like portraying Phichit like this and its,, so awful.

yeah like it’s very common to find biracial latinx, interracial relationships, or full blooded latinx w/ non hispanic european names it’s not that deep it doesn’t erase the fact they are latinx they just happen to have a euro name because you know colonization happened
