🔐Few people know this about me but Grape Nuts happens to be my favorite cereal of all time. I remember as a kid eating Grape Nuts with my Dad. Now, I like to eat my Grapes Nuts the minute the milk is poured on them. My Dad on the other hand liked his to sit until they soaked up the milk. I remember like it was yesterday, one Sunday morning we were getting ready for church and as usual he had poured us up bowls of Grape Nuts. I had finished mine off in no time while his was still getting ready on the kitchen counter. After 5 minutes or so had passed he called me in the kitchen where I noticed what seemed like a hundred or so little black specs floating in the milk in his Grape Nuts. Low and behold that’s when I learned what a Wheat Weevil was and I had just finished off a bowl of them. To this day I still wonder if I have another surprise bowl of Grape “Weevil” Nuts but it hasn’t stopped me from enjoying them. Sometimes it’s better to just not know.
