I did a lot of singing and thinking on my long drive home. I kept looking at the gorgeous sunset behind me, I wanted to pull over and just watch as the magnificent sun sunk beneath the horizon, but I also wanted to get home. I wasn't aware of the fire on the Grapevine until traffic was at a crawl. I saw hotspots on the opposite side of where I was heading and then as if by magic there were beautiful bright orange/yellow flames. I was in a trance, like this is dangerous yet stunning.
