Yeah, I wasn’t going to make a post about it, but then I thought, what the hell? I’m a content creator, I write on a daily basis and take time out of my day to do something I enjoy when I could be trying to figure what the fuck I’m going to do with my freaking live, what should I maybe study next that could help me in the future, or how I could improve with my writing, or even learn how to use Photoshop, but I don’t instead I decide to write.
And so do many other content creators, we use our free time to make something for everyone to enjoy, and if you don’t enjoy it, take your fucking bullshit and hop off this highway because you’re not going to last long on this highway anyway.
I don’t receive these myself, but I see so many of my favourite content creators receiving hate from people HIDING behind the anon button, sending hate to these people, telling them that things such as: “Your content isn’t good enough.” “Your content looks the same as the other persons.” “Your writing is going down. “I hope something bad happens to you.”
Get off anon and grow the fuck up you child, you’re too immature to be on the internet if you send hate ON ANON to anyone, get off anon and show yourself, oh, wait… I forgot, you’re a coward, and you wouldn’t be able to say this shit to anyone when you come face-to-face with these people.
BUT IT JUST PROVES that you, you, the person that sends these childish things on anon, do not do these things yourself, otherwise you would know the HARD work that goes into it, the TIME that goes in to, the EFFORT that goes into it, and at the end of the day YOU have no right to say anything about anyone's creations, unless you are working on some yourself and know about the time, effort, and tears, oh, AND ANXIETY goes into it.
Yes, anxiety, because we are all always wondering “Will this be good enough?” We are constantly worried if our stuff will be good enough, yet… we shouldn’t… and I realized this a bit too late in my time writing, we as creators shouldn’t be worrying about what others think, because, at the end of the day, it is still OUR work, we do it for ourselves, and yes, sometimes, or most of the time, we seek approval from people, When we shouldn’t…
We should be working on our time, making sure to take care of ourselves, even if it takes MONTHS to write something, or gif something, or make a graphic, WE should make sure to take care of ourselves, our health, our mental health, put ourselves ahead of anything else… we can’t magically give you content if we don’t feel well enough to do so…
This past week I struggled with a massive headache, nothing helped for it, and yet I tried to write before I just realized that I should be taking care of myself, I can’t do this if I’m feeling like I’m going to fall out of my chair, feel like I’m going to fall down when walking, I need to put myself ahead of the requests on my to-do list, so I’m able to write it at a later day when I’m healthier when I have the energy to write your request…
