Neera
A sap extracted from palm trees, known as Palm Nectar or Neera, holds a special place in my childhood memories. The extraction process typically takes place before sunrise. As the temperature rises, fermentation occurs.
I vividly remember waiting eagerly during family and friend road trips. As we passed through small villages, I'd excitedly spot Neera stalls along the highways. We'd stop for a refreshing sip, and those brief breaks were always exciting. Even now, the memory of that sweet, refreshing taste remains nostalgic and unforgettable.
