I've been behind the times watching cartoons and singing nursery rhymes too afraid to feel anything but safe and sound two feet on the ground but I wanna be a little scared and, yeah, I want to cry be safe in your arms while you hold me tight I wanna kiss your lips and taste whiskey on mine and keep these butterflies I’ve been afraid to feel anything but something is happening and I want to embrace everything again

I'm learning more every day that there are some deep-rooted, unintentional things I've felt and said that I thought were headed in the right direction, when in fact, they were pretty stagnant. harmful even.

Today I saw someone dragging 2 dead deer on chains behind their truck down a gravel road.

I think they were deer at least.
