As the resident Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed guy, how do you feel about both of them being on the self?
I'M DEVASTATED. bron being out was already tough but i was at least looking forward to seeing bronson wreak more havoc. but nope!!! truly this faction is cursed. i feel so fucking bad for bronson too :(
i'm still mildly curious what'll happen with theory but like... the heart and soul of the vision ain't there anymore so eh. put theory and logan in the tag division, maybe breathe a little life into that scene. and can somebody check on the masked man? what does he think about all this?
small silver lining is that i can headcanon bronbron commiserating in recovery together. and i can fantasy book their returns! like bron comes back first but refuses to re-join the vision because it never did jack shit for him. then bronson returns and sides with bron and we get bronbron vs vision for the tag titles. bronbron tag champ run at long last!!! my heart is healed!!! idk where that leaves seth and his return but this ask is about bronbron okay, i'll worry about seth later

he seems proud of what he's been doing so i'm happy for him! also his traps are looking bonkers, like whoa
he's been changing his weight for a while now. when he was out rehabbing his ankle i think he dropped like 30+ pounds. selfishly i'm a little sad because there's already a major shortage of big wrestlers across the board. plus the tsunami doesn't hit as hard (literally). but at the end of the day if he's happy then it's all good

When it happened, my friend (in an attempt to cheer me up bc i was so upset) jokingly said "bronbron reunion but at what cost" so i think its great that multiple people are seeing this silver lining lol

second of all i'm deep in THE SEGMENT weeds rn and you knooooow i'm staring at bronson's hand on bron's knee like 👀. in general bronson is so much more gentle with bron than seth ever was. i like to think it started out as a strategic thing for bronson to set himself apart from seth in bron's mind but he ended up finding a lot of comfort for himself in it, so now he does it when he needs support too. also i think you mentioned in a liveblog post from yesterday about bronson hesitating after bron speared jimmy thru the barricade? the big bad auszilla was worried :')

THANK YOU for this ask because it sent me down a very fun singlet investigation rabbit hole to make sure i had my facts straight. i'm about to give you way more information than you asked for so brace yourself lmao (or just skip to the end)
2021-23 nxt face run: mostly the 90s colorful steiner singlets (lisa frank is such a good way to describe them), but occasionally plain black
2023-24 nxt heel run: exclusively black or red singlets, including at nxt ples. this is the origin of the "badass dog" phrase he puts on everything. it's so silly that i can't even hate it
2024 nxt tweener/face run (wolf dogs era): exclusively colorful singlets. he's back in the pink steiner math one for the very first wolf dogs match. the healing power... :')
^ this includes his royal rumble debut and his squash matches on smackdown during this time. rocking the pretty colors on main!
2024-25 raw heel run (post-wolf dogs, pre-vision): exclusively* black or red on weekly tv. exclusively pretty colors at ples (the final one being mania 41)
^ him going back to red/black immediately after the wolf dogs were split up forever by the draft... his smile and optimism: gone...
^ *except for 2 days after mitb where he wore the same PLE singlet in a match against ilja on raw. i'm gonna assume he just forgot to pack his red or black one
2025-present raw heel run (vision era): exclusively his standard red for the first couple weeks with the vision. then exclusively a new black singlet from snme 39 onwards, including at all ples. then exclusively the black and gold vision/bronbron singlet from wrestlepalooza onwards
we can see that his nxt run is super straightforward. colorful singlets when he's face, red/black when he's heel, return to colorful when he's a tweener/having fun/crushing on his tag team partner
things get muddy when he's drafted to raw. i don't really consider him a tweener during this period because he's too destructive and uncaring about the audience most of the time. from a kayfabe pov there's no real explanation for the mismatch between weekly and ple singlets. my personal headcanon is that he struggles a lot with identity and direction post-wolf dogs. brand new to the raw roster, completely alone, under a ton of pressure to be a star and to be a steiner - even if he doesn't use the name. he reverts to violence because that's safe/reliable/what people have come to expect from him. he wears retro singlets at ples because his family is watching and so are the people who could give him an opportunity if he gets their attention. i also think part of him kinda wanted to be a tweener again because, as much as he acts like he's above caring, he wants approval. so it's all very confusing and frustrating and never enough. he gets a title twice but he loses is twice. he's floundering for an entire year. and then heyman and seth come around offering the exact direction he's been looking for...
so to finally address your questions: the most recent "when" is the moment he joined the vision, and the "why" is most likely because seth/heyman convinced him it was in his best interest to rebrand for the faction. bron debuted the black vision singlet when he and seth tagged at snme. from then onwards it's been all vision branding all the time
so yes! i have feels about it! a lot more than i thought, turn out. i love the retro singlets so much, especially because they were a staple of the wolf dogs era. i don't think we'll see it while he's with the vision unless heyman wants him to lean into the steiner stuff. and ofc i'm dreaming of a world with tweener/face bronbron where he's finally happy enough to wear them again :')
