Zombie hunter, and dinosaur wrangler? I have so many questions. What does it all mean?
Lol. Qiv is from a society that is a large city surrounded by zombie infested wilderness. One of their jobs is a zombie hunter, which is kind of like their military. They train to fight the zombies, to keep them away from the outer walls, to escort any groups that travel out of the city to gather resources. So when she was in her teens, she entered the zombie hunters thing.
And then my conworld has dinosaurs running around because dinosaurs are fucking awesome. One of the most prevalent ones are called grassmounts. They’re like knock-off velociraptors (movie sized not irl sized) and have these huge talons because they’re native to the area where there are wild zombies and they’re perfect for defending against and killing human shaped things. (so naturally other cultures took them for war mounts). Anyway, they’re like my fantasy world’s version of horses in terms of how they’re used. And her parents works on the grassmount ranches. Then once she left her city and got to the main lands, she looked after the grassmounts and grassrunners (think like chicken sized things, live with chickens, are just as blood thirsty as chickens but are pack oriented and so tend to stick with the group where as chickens just kind of do their thing.)
