hi!!!! yes you absolutely can!!!!! i honestly think this fic is the best thing i’ve ever written and i will always be happy to talk about it

so i’d been agonising for weeks over what my big bang was going to be. a dancer au? pirates? maybe the brain damage fic?

but nothing was hitting. then i remembered the tua big bang from a couple of years earlier which ended up being cancelled. i’d started writing a hadestown klave au, and you guys know me. i love hadestown. i love tragedy.

the tua fic didn’t work out but i knew the concept would be perfect for this big bang. it excited me so much.

i wrote a lot of it while travelling around spain and then i finished it at home. my intended ending, the ending i was heading towards right until the very last second, was supposed to be from tk’s pov. then i wrote the actual ending - still not knowing it was the ending - and it just felt right.

this fic is the best thing i’ve written so far and i’m so incredibly proud of it

the way i'm so bad at these sorts of things 🙈 ah well let's have a crack at it i've long headcanoned that tk can sing really well and he plays an instrument (i've always imagined guitar but piano would be cool too) mateo has extremely messy handwriting but he's an incredible artist marjan has a green thumb and knows everything there is to know about plants. she can diagnose what's wrong with your sad, wilted houseplant just by looking at it and uhhhh yeah i'm done 😅 would love to hear other people's thoughts!

may i introduce you to my discourse tag? especially the posts from 2022, i was going off back then (yes i have regrets). most of my unpopular opinions relate to carlos in some way but an unrelated one is that owen is massively overhated and actually he's a good character. also that 3.13 yes is objectively a great episode but it does boil my PISS i also think that at the start of season 4, carlos doesn't know iris. like, all that advising tk about how to act and telling iris herself that he doesn't believe she's crazy is all bullshit. he hasn't seen her in five years. he doesn't know her.

oh, and (sorry lmao i went back through my discourse tag) the breakup situation was handled so weirdly. ‘believe people when they tell you who they are. just believe them. when you walked out on our first date, that was you telling me who you were’ - 1) that 'date' wasn't a date and 2) in the wake of s4, we all know that's a bit rich coming from carlos and the way the whole thing was portrayed as tk's fault entirely??? nahhhh you don't go buying real estate without consulting your partner like? i'd have broken up with him too.
