Gratitude Project
My job. Event though I hated to go back to work this week to get ready for the hellions to return, I’m thankful for a job that I love (if I have to work, that is).

The Gratitude Project: Day 18
I am grateful for cheap pizza. Little Caesar’s is quite underrated for what it is - and the cheesy breadsticks are the bomb.
The Gratitude Project: Day 11
I am grateful for the Succulent Tart troupe. I was beyond thrilled to come to Wyrmrest Accord and hear that there was a guild that roleplayed as actual performers - complete with stage crew. While I’d still like to have a crew character, there’s something wonderful about getting to be on-stage and showcase my writing in a performance.
The Gratitude Project: Day 13
I am grateful that my husband has gotten involved in Shadowrun and Pathfinder tabletops again. He’s hilarious to listen to, especially three beers in.
The Gratitude Project: Day 12
I am grateful for @i-do-a-stuff. Over the last two years, they’ve become one of my best friends. This is a call-out post: you’re amazing.

I'm not one to easily get ruffled or upset. But the time comes where I break. Today I'm beyond grateful that I have learned how to walk away before I show my ass. I'm immensely proud of myself this morning.
The Gratitude Project: Day 4
(Slightly belated.)
I am grateful for Discord. For voice chat programs and the ability to call a friend and hear a voice when I need one. I hardly ever use my phone anymore, but I’d be lost without Discord.

Marvels of modern medicine. Yesterday was supposed to be a day of joy and for the most part it was. But for about 45 minutes, unbeknownst to me at the time, it was a very scary time. My cousin was trying to deliver a new baby girl. There were complications and things went very bad very quickly. The baby nearly died and mom wasn’t far behind. But, great doctors and staff kept that from happening. They’re both under observation, but seemingly going to be okay.
Also, pool dates. I think I had the last official one today. Pool time and great conversation with one of my oldest friends is always a welcome distraction. I miss them when the weather’s off and we have to work. Until next year!
