But omg thank youuuu! I’m really glad you like it. It’s honestly the hottest trope/ scenario to me ever. I just love the concept of everyone getting fatter. Like just some societal switch flips and slowly but surely everyone starts packing on the pounds. And there are so many ways to go about it too
- new inventions make it so food is wildly inexpensive and available.
- a pandemic lockdown causing people’s weights to creep up and instead of losing it they just give into gluttony.
- celebrities start gaining weight and culture responds by making fat the new beauty standard.
- Ai becomes sentient and instead of being evil is just horny and wants everyone fat as hell
There are so many avenues to explore with it and it’s really neat too because in addition to a large society wide view it can be super hot and cool to see the effects on a small scale. Like two roommates responding to the changing world or working at an office and slowly seeing your coworkers fall into gluttony and excess with you following right along.
