This trend is really funny when half of your favorite ocs are based on other characters

Gravechaser is biologically immortal btw. Their grandparents were fucking ANCIENT so the immortality still runs very strong in its bloodline. If she wasn’t immortal Slash never would’ve allowed them to become as close as they are (literally they are mates but they won’t admit it) for fear of watching another lover die.

On that note, Slash’s immortality is quite different from that of a reaper. Slash does not die, even when killed - being killed is literally what caused it to find out he was immortal. Aside from the gaping wound in his neck, Slash heals at a regular rate for a living cat, though it also produces blood insanely fast to keep up with the amount he’s always losing. It technically does die when killed, though only momentarily - the brief death period lasts a few minutes at most before he revives. They’re stuck living forever, as far as anyone knows. (Me included. Yeah he’s not perma-dying lmao)

So. OCs! This universe is called Tattered cause it used to just be the main group (Slash, Gravechaser, Raven, Taiyo, whose refs I’ll post in a bit) and it made more sense with the old plot but it also sucked so you don’t get to know it :) now we have world building in my shitty handwriting lol <33 it’s all about mutations (referred to as “abilities” cause thats what the characters call mutations and magic). So. Here’s that. Full speciation can occur sometimes but it’s pretty rare nowadays to see a purebred.
