Gabe rarely bothered with routines. School and studies was the only routine he was concerned with and having someone to eat his lunch with was not a priority either. Gabe had a text book up, reading while eating and getting the knowledge he needed. However, the silence of his own space was soon to be disturbed. Gabe looked up and sighed. “Couldn’t keep quiet huh?”
“Yes, I know they found a dead body in the library,” Sara told the person she felt creeping besides her, not even sure they were going to say anything regarding such, but it seemed to be the talk of campus. While she spoke, she collected her things, knowing she had dance practice in an hour. It wasn’t out of the norm for her to get to things early; it was just a habit of being sure. “And no,” she continued, not making eye contact, “I don’t care.” In that moment, her pointe shoe fell from her bag and she bent down to retrieve it with an exasperated sigh. Sara lied -- about not caring. She lied about many things and this was one of them. Of course she cared. How could she not when that dead body they found might as well be her when they initiate her into that damned secret society?
“If I just drink a lot that will make all of this go away, right? Everything, all of it? An entire bottle of tequila sounds like the right antidote to all of this.”
“So, like not to alarm anyone, but there’s sort of a dead body just chilling in the library." Albeit a little shaken up by what had just happened, Riley was probably doing better than the others that were with her. This wasn't her first dead body, but it had been a while since her last, and she knew the fresh memory would stay with her for a bit. "Just thought, uh, ya' know, I should let you all know..."
“i can’t be the only one who thinks it makes everything a bit more interesting.” he’s talking about her death, sylvia’s. and he’s a touch too blasé about it than would be appropriate. (maybe more than a touch, really.) “who doesn’t love a good mysterious death?”
“Two hours of track, one hour of tennis, one hour of breast stroke swimming, followed by a hour and a half of jogging equals a very sweaty me. Get out, unless you want a show.” Which most people pay me four or five figures for, Emmy thought mindlessly to herself. She was not self conscious in the slightest, Emmy had almost immediately stripped off her gym tights as soon as she had entered the house. “I need to shower.”
It was obvious before it had even happened, the way his phone collided with the floor to create an unsettling clatter as Laken stood there, letting out a frustrated groan. “Bloody shit.” He muttered, tone ridden with irritation as he ran his free hand roughly back through his hair. The floor felt empty as he knelt down to it, cane resting against the wall behind him while his hands searched in annoyance for the mobile that surely had to be right nearby. The sound of footsteps made him pause, a low sigh filling the air around him as he gave the arrival a warning look. “I’ve got this, don’t do anything.”
