@gravity-wall Zea and Lalen get potatoes.
"Hey," there was a light knock on the door, "there's breakfast on the table if you want it."
Cole would flicker in and out, reporting that Kiana and Kieran had set out after a quick visit to her mom's house for food and rest. Then he'd disappear again, leaving her to her thoughts and potatoes.
Upstairs, Varric was awake and complaining, and she couldn't help but smile. She'd already brought him a plate and done a quick replacement of bandages with a healing spell - and he wouldn't be able to shoot, but he could write.
"Would you describe your vision as half-blind or just partially blind?" he'd asked, and it'd been the first time she'd laughed since last night.
But now she was alone again and it was making her a bit nuts. So here she was, bothering the tenants of the other room before she went to Skyhold and tried to fix everything herself.
(It wouldn't work. She knew it wouldn't work. But it felt like her bones were trying to jump out of her skin.)
