The sun was shining brightly and the light came into her room. This was the first sunny day in a week, but even that couldn't stop her from thinking about what happened yesterday. She narrowed her eyes in an attempt to expel the memory from inside of her, however, it wasn't that simple. Her chest was heavy and ached as if someone were shoving a knife and moving around. It was as if IShe was under water submerged in everything around except her feelings. Y/n finally opened her eyes when heard the massive wooden door that decorated her room open.
- Hey. - Grayson spoke softly as if he was afraid of her reaction. He sat on the end of the bed and intertwined their fingers.
- What are you doing here?- She asked, wrinkling her forehead. He smiled making his dimple jump across his tanned face.
- For fucks sake! I am your best friend I am always here. - He rolled his eyes as if it was obvious.
- I meant that you should be getting ready for school, asshole - She replied using her free hand to slap his shoulder.
- We should be getting ready to school. - He pointed at her and she took a deep breath. - Come on Y / N ... You missed three days already. I'm not going to let you get fucked over an asshole. - Grayson completed getting redder with every word that comes out of his mouth.
- He cheated on me, Gray. In from off everyone at school and honestly I don't want to have to face the looks of pity and gossip. -She let go of her hand to put a lock of hair behind her ear.
- I know it is not easy, but this is not the Y / N that I know. My best friend doesn't care about the opinion of others and considers herself self-sufficient. Where is she? The one that cheers my days and that hates my twin brother? I think even he misses having no one to fight. - We laughed. Gray opened his strong arms and I snuggled between them. - You know I will never let anything bad happen to you. If someone lets out a joke, I'll do something. Mike doesn't deserve you to feel that way about him. - The name of her ex made her tighten the hug even more. It was going to be a long day.
