For whatever reason, I mostly kept my current WIP kinda secret. Only a small handful on here saw it along the way and like 4-5 people I know irl have seen shots. Until I shared it in a WIP Wednesday thread in a group. Ha. A small part because my fabric choice was iffy. 😂 The rest, just because? It's one of several patterns I bought from a single Etsy store. I'm getting close to the end, just have to finish the top row of pages.
This was my starting point tonight. It's the Geometric Rainbow Ribbons by Hornswoggle. It doesn't show quite as well under lamps, looks a bit better in sunlight I promise! Still, the lightly mottled gray doesn't work as well as just plain black or white would've.
Two hours later....
Yeah, it wasn't much.... As long as one count didn't go wrong at the top, I can sort of get all of one color done at a time now rather than constantly changing between the 27 in it.
I'm sleepy but need to stay up as late as I can tonight. After tonight, I finally go back to work after being made to take a short leave. A "mandated quarantine" as I failed the health screening the week before last just by being nauseous a few days in a row (ended up being 5 days, and no I'm not pregnant yet). No more daywalking!
Let's see how much longer I can last....
