i’m tumultuous and pretty and a lil sad
just wanted to share st that has been making doing things easier
so i downloaded this book mini habits on a whim
and the premise is that you are absolutely obligated to do your mini habits every day
but my mini habits rn are
dance to 1 song
write 100 words
they are goals set up for success. i can stop at 100 words and i've completed my mini habit, and everything after is bonus.
the author also recommends using your bedtime as when you should do them rather than midnight so you can jump up and do your habits if you forget
so far i've been successful every day! with bonus reps most days. and it takes no motivation and very little willpower to do the baseline goals, so once i get started my brain is like "this isn't so bad, let's do some more" and it usually happens
and if you feel shitty, doing the baseline is still building a habit! which is awesome.
also why is cuddling with platonic friends waaaaay sensory overload for me but clubbing and sometimes kissing strangers isn't?
i want cuddles but also most of the time i hate cuddles from anyone but rhett
