It’s one of those days where I’m really frustrated about mental health representation in the media. There are really good examples out there. My personal favorite is Bojack Horseman. But those examples are so few and far between. In Bojack Horseman, the characters are characters first with distinct personalities and their mental health is just another part of them. So often you see things that define their characters by their mental disorders. This goes for characters that aren’t neurotypical too AND ESPECIALLY LGBT+ CHARACTERS!!!!
I don’t introduce myself as Gray, the bipolar bisexual girl. Embracing those parts of yourself and learning to live with them is so important, but they don’t define your entire character! You could be smart, funny, generous, nerdy, sporty, athletic, LITERALLY ANYTHING YOU CHOOSE TO DEFINE YOURSELF WITH! If your friends always introduced you as their gay friend, you’d feel icky about it.
So in conclusion, if your character is going to be different from the norm in any way, make them a character first.
Did Marvel just give us old, married, domestic Logan and Thor because I'm all here for it.
@gay-morrison
look. i know cellulite is the way that female bodies store fat and thats just biology but i just saw a post saying to celebrate it as a "rite of womanhood" and essentially saying "this is a Woman thing. this is for Ladies. only women have this." and i just gotta say. please,, dont. it sucks for trans guys who have those traits and altho i cant speak for those lovely ladies presumably trans girls who dont have it too. i understand biology but lets not say cellulite is only for women bc it gives me enough dysphoria already
and yes let me reiterate i understand its biology believe me i know but im talking about it being a "rite of womanhood". that is bullshit. having cellulite does not make you a woman, and not having cellulite does not make you not a woman. that is all
CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT GRAY'S THIGHS IN HIS LAST IG POST...THIS BOY WANTS ME DEAD😵
BOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Ok, since we're talking about "body parts", I would just like to add that: Grayson Dolan's butt is the sexiest "male butt" I have ever seen in my entire life
HE IS T H I C C
Grayson's body intimidates me... a lot (am I the only one who feels like this??)
HE’S SO BIG IT’S TERRIFYING
I feel like gray does actually like being called daddy, but he just cringes when it's said out of context
grayson has such a huge daddy kink, there’s no denying that
