my favorite divorced old concrete wall
This is uh was done really quick and is really crappy
Realizing that I really did enjoy watching Beauty and the Beast way back when because apparently,
"Try the gray stuff. It's delicious!"
was so impactful that I decided to describe some fantasy food in my book that was indeed both gray and delicious...
Huh.
Well whadayaknow? (from Changing Waters: Jiol if you're curious)
NO!!! NO GREY STUFF!!
*TAKES IT AWAY*
RGRRRRRGEGEGRGRGR DONT TURN INTO A CONCRETE POT

((more questions are welcome here!)) ((Pls Reblog my art will be pretty nice thank you!!))
It pains me to see either people being like
“ Wallter is the sweetest being in the entire universe! She wouldn't hurt a fly! ”
Or
“ Wallter is a self absorbed asshole who abused his ex-husband!!”
(Obviously these are exaggerated for comedic effect)
Why not both? Obviously he didn't NECESSARILY abuse Mark and he ISN'T the sweetest thing ever but cmon!
I've been around alcoholic people my entire life, it wildly effects people more than you think. My personal headcanon is that when Wallter is sober/hasn't drunk gray stuff he's really kind and compassionate! Yes, xe may have his rude moments & can be self absorbed but that can happen with anyone. However, whenever its NOT sober that all changes. She can be extremely rude, more self absorbed, not understanding etc etc. I like to think that Wallter is so heavily addicted to gray stuff that he genuinely doesn't see the fact that she is effecting people & hurting himself in the process.
Those are just my thoughts, have your own headcanons I'm not here to police you. lalallala
Can i eat concrete plz 🥺👉👈

Sound design
Sound design isn’t something I’m particularly experienced with, but I want to take a moment to underscore its importance to good gameplay. If the sound of your weapon firing is pleasing, it’ll make your experience overall more enjoyable; if the inverse is true, it’ll probably be a little less fun. The same goes for the animation of the weapon firing - even if you don’t have or don’t need sound, you can still get enjoyment from the powerful kickback of a shotgun.
The other night, my friend was trying out the Hotman’s Makeheater (better known as the Hitman’s Heatmaker). He hated it - he couldn’t tell when he was attacking because it was so quiet. “But,” I said, “that’s the whole reason I like it! It’s quiet!” So, to test this, I wanted to share some of my favorite - and least-favorite - firing sounds, just to see how subjective this all is.
Favorite Widowmaker: “Like a drum set getting hit by a train,” I’ve been told. The power of this shotgun is evident in its firing sound. Hitman’s Heatmaker: As mentioned, it’s quiet. I’m not much for loud noises for some reason, which includes the “pow” of the other sniper rifles. Cleaner’s Carbine: I’m not a “gun guy,” but I understand silencers aren’t actually this silent for real guns. Nevertheless, the “thwip thwip thwip” is very pleasing. Grenade Launcher: Thoomp thoomp thoomp. I love how well they captured the sound of pressure being released! Huo-Long Heater: If you want a minigun with a powerful noise, the Huo-Long fits the bill. True to its namesake, it almost sounds like it’s roaring and snarling. The Original: This sound just evokes power, especially with the kickback of the animation. Maybe that’s one of the things that made the original Quake rocket launcher so popular.
Least favorite Back Scatter: It feels kind of... flat somehow? Almost like it’s misfiring. There’s little to no echo, which I think is what makes the other scatterguns feel good. Iron Bomber: Like the Back Scatter, to me it evokes the sound of hitting a solid wall. L’Etranger: This one is probably intentional given its low damage, but the L’Etranger just doesn’t feel powerful. Its firing sound is high-pitched and thin. Again, probably intentional, but I don’t like it much.
The funny thing is that there are lots more that I like, and these are pretty much the only ones I dislike. I think that says a lot about how good TF2′s sound design is. I’m also noticing that I seem to like the powerful-sounding ones - do you think that’s a common theme?
What are your favorites? Least-favorites? I’m curious now.
