Solar Flare Ocs: today’s episode: Gray Vulture

Though his actual name is Adrik Petrov, these days he’d rather be called Gray Vulture (or Gay Vulture for Jokes). Gray used to be Cira’s best friend in middle school but at one point, he begins to take the form of a vulture man that eats roadkill and garbage. His non-super powered adoptive parents, not knowing what to do with their son, drop him off at his aunt and uncle’s home, hoping that they’d know what to do with him rather than deal with responsibility of raising a troubled prepubescent bird boy. Since he became a bird, young Adrik started calling himself ‘Gray Vulture’ and started to do things like steal stuff, brood (like a chicken), play pranks on people, chill on the rooftops, fly, eat random animals, scare the old people, look for shitty bargain bin movies to make fun of, and go dumpster diving for some cool finds. He’s not necessarily evil per say, he just likes to take advantage of his flying ability and he focuses on himself more often than not.

When Cira became a superhero, he decides to reunite with his long lost friend, leading to the most ridiculous rivalry between them. Really, calling him a super villain isn’t exactly accurate and he’s more a “super delinquent”. However, this didn’t last for long as Cira had vanished from thin air after an accident that occurred thanks to her powers. Gray was under the impression that Cira simply wanted to get away from the stressful life of being a teenage superhero and with it, he decided to go back to his usual shtick with being the local punk bird. He then gets contacted by a task force investigating strange happenings that may or may not involve a possible alien invasion. At this point, they’re pretty desperate for anyone’s help, even a “super delinquent” nobody like Gray Vulture would be contacted for a job. Gray, seeing that the task force is paying top dollar for this, he decides to hop aboard, unsure of where this will take him…
