i talk a lot about The Tragedies of jackie mallory, but i don’t think i talk nearly enough about jay.
jay mallory who went to work one morning, the world ended in the afternoon, and after fighting tooth and nail to get home, he found his house in flames and his daughters gone. he doesn’t know if they survived. he doesn’t know if they burnt to death, doesn’t know if they were eaten, if they were bitten, if they’re together, if they’re safe. his girls are just gone.
and then, after what feels like a million years, he finds one of them again.
Please tag me if you create a playlist for your sim to the type of music they listen to or if you already did. :] (I would greatly appreciate it a ton.) Thank you.

👠👗A more causal/date night look for him; though knowing Jay, he’s got a bit of a flair for elegant and eldritch dresses, so he tends to dress stylishly even for the most ordinary of outings👗👠
Jay is the host of a strange entity as its vessel. The entity of unclear origins is called “Guest” by Jay as its true name is far too alien and difficult for human tongues to pronounce. Guest has a strange… “relationship” with Jay, as it often communicates to him and only him via telepathy. Though Jay is its host, Guest often inflicts severe internal pain to Jay when it believes Jay is trying to ignore it or go against its plans. Guest is able to completely possess Jay in small bouts, turning its own hapless host into a body horror nightmare it can easily control that is capable of viciously maiming anyone that is in its way. Though most of the time, it remains burrowed deep within Jay’s body, writhing from within and fully aware of Jay’s actions and thoughts.
Despite the pain and possessiveness that Guest brings, Jay seems to hide the existence of the tiny eldritch parasite he hosts. He tends to avoid talking about Guest, especially about where it came from and how/why it possessed him. Even with the torment Jay faces every waking hour, he refuses to part ways with Guest and attempt to remove the parasite. Guest seems to offer him things that, in his past, were unattainable: wealth, power, a feared/revered reputation, and a second chance to live a better life. Jay, in turn, repays Guest by abiding by its agenda and works for it. At this point, in Jay’s mind, there’s no going back and that little parasite is now just a part of him.
At first, Jay believed he could hide Guest and keep the truth a secret. After all, no one truly knew him well enough (or sticked around long enough) to be able know the truth. But, in enters a super nobody: Gray Vulture. As Gray grew closer to him and their relationship began to blossom, it became harder to hide Guest or the pain he faced with it. Guest, on the other hand, hates Gray, seeing him as a “petty distraction” to the host that must be removed…
Jay Mallory is a young man most noted for being one of, if not the most feared super villain out there. With the dignified way he carries himself and his strange power that seems to have him hosting some sort of otherworldly presence, he made himself a name in the super villain scene despite only recently rising up into infamy at the age of 20. He’s been described as “refined, soft spoken, evasive, and unsettling”; four attributes that define him best.
Unlike most A-list villains (or heroes in that matter), Jay skyrocketed into being notorious in less than a year, rather than building up his image over time. Pretty much nothing was known about him until he seemingly appeared from thin air in the public eye. Throughout both villains and heroes’ social circles, there’s horror stories telling of how Jay’s body would warp itself in an horrific manner and how this Cronenbergian nightmare that formed from Jay would quickly tear into those unfortunate enough not to escape with their life. Even though these moments are rare and that he’d prefer to use cunning and misleading tactics, most have learned to not fuck around with Jay Mallory.
Most would point to these powers for his new fame, which he seems to avoid revealing anything about its origins. Even information on his life before becoming a villain is scarce. The most people know is the fact that he may have lived in a foster home at one point and he didn’t inherit his powers like most… He’s the cagey sort of guy who keeps his past scattered and out of sight in order to avoid people taking advantage of him. Even among the few friends he has, he tends to keep anything deeply personal to himself. However info may gradually surface with a budding romantic relationship with a certain "super delinquent" that may have him opening up. How this man of all people could reel in the one and only Jay Mallory, is perhaps the biggest mystery of all…
