the lone player really would've preferred to stay in their room today, course caine found someway to drag them out forcing them on yet another adventure. and it was just as fun as they expected it to be in that it wasn't.

they were just happy it was over and done with. until they'd have to deal with trying to weasel their way out of another one tomorrow...

the newer ones voice draws them out of their bitter state, reminiscing back to earlier when they nearly joked that damn rabbit out. he had it coming really. if he'd just learn to keep his hands to himself, then there'd be no reason for them to retaliate.

Gray was a fireball of a guy. No matter what happens, whether in times in the tent or even in adventures, he was always needlessly funny and amusing. For being as short as he was, too.

And boy, she knew he'd hate her for this. Just because he was short, didn't mean he liked being reminded of it or the fact being taken advantage of but, hopefully he'd forgive her for this.

He was talking to her, she swears; but she sort of tuned it out for a bit, just staring down at him while his lips kept moving on about something. Think it was regarding Caine or Jax, Pomni wasn't really sure. But after a couple beats, the curiosity of his reaction was too much to bear and she willed herself to swoop him into her arms suddenly, placing a quick smooch on his cheek then setting him down right after.

the world has never seemed to like her. maeve has spent more time than she's ever admitted trying to work it out: to figure our where the flaw in her design is, where there's something not quite right within her for others to always abandon in the same say. it's just how it is. just how she is. so onwards she continues, focussing on projects, focussing on tasks and goals above anything that might slice her to shreds from the inside out.
