Sitting on the edge of one of the school's many walls, Eoghan was thinking. Now, I can hear you asking, 'he can think?' Why yes, disembodied voice of the reader, he can. His mind was wandering over the coming full moon. Although he had gotten used to shifting, there was a part of him deep inside that hated the thought and actually slightly feared the change. He broke his curse at the tender age of sixteen, when it was a family tradition to trigger when you were eighteen. Like a right of passage into adulthood. His twin sister was still to go through it, and their younger brother, but as for his older siblings? It'd happened for them.

The lycan pursed his lips as he started to rock back and forth. Something he'd always done when he thought to himself, he rocked-- if questioned about it, he'd probably come away with something like it helped his brain function. The full moon was five days away, and he wondered if he was going to hurt someone. Something he'd never wanted to do was put anyone in harm's way, and of late, didn't want to put any of his classmates in the way of danger. Henry, Lux, Blair, Addy, Ethan, James-- and any of the other attendees of the school. But knowing a school full of supernatural teenagers, he guessed that it wasn't going to be long until someone said a 'fuck it' and snuck out on full moon night. Rocking still, he heard footsteps coming up behind him. They caught him off guard and sent him into surprise, making him rock a little too much backwards and fall off the wall and land upside down, facing him. The incubus that he'd grown to call his friend, he stuck his arms out to him and let out a "Help me up!" Good thing about Eoghan? It took a lot to embarrass him.
