When I was in Long Beach last Saturday this pretty silver/gray leaved plant with the intense azure blue small flowers caught my eye. It looks like a drought and heat tolerant plant to me and for that reason and, of course, for its obvious beauty I would love to grow it in my own garden. Any guess what the name of this plant is? For some reason I am really in autumn mood this year and enjoy decorating the house for fall. White small pumpkins have moved in and I found some nice fall decor items yesterday. Our temperatures are not there yet, though. They are forecasted to hover in the upper 80ties F (around 30 C) for the next ten days. But the heat sets in a little later in the day and also ceases earlier in the evening, so a little bit more gardening can be done and I am so thankful for this. I planted a new white rose and deadheaded the established roses quite a bit. I also fertilized parts of the garden again and did some autumn tidying up. I hope to show you the garden soon either on my feed or in my stories.
