Hard to believe this will only be our 2nd show this year. We have been spending a lot of time at the hit factory crafting our tunes for the fine people of Philadelphia. Writing a full length is hard, you have to have like a lot of songs and stuff. This will be our only show this month because Dan is about to dip out and go on this heady tour:

That's right, our very own Dank Lozar will be road-doggin' for Astpai for the next 3 weeks. I'm v. jealous over here. If you live in Europe go see this tour, and tell Dan to bring back Party Flips.

meta personalities in order - hermitage status update

I do this thing where i become a group of stuff that interacts and influences itself. And i watch it all churn for awhile before making a motion, in the way that one would make a motion at a meeting. From there  then i play out the meeting process in different roles. Sometimes as the instigator with a proposal to pass, sometimes as a gadfly who challenges the structure of the meeting, and sometimes as a facilitator who corals a space in which things tend to work out. This morning i took the role of guest speaker who entertains and explains.

During the process i also sat with a keyboard and laid down text. So as the week progresses i will be editing that into a form with some coherence. At this point i think it is sufficient to share the influences that were playing audio and video on my other screen:

Points to anyone who can provide an artist to close that trend into a loop. But for now my sharing is that there is something common to all of these artisti which is manifesting in my mind, and i feel compelled to attempt to translate it into my own art.
