Next to me, Uriel finally stopped muttering something with a serious face only to fall into a snore-filled slumber. Meanwhile, the ‘Secretive Plotter’ was half-leaning against her, also unconscious.

It kind of felt weird seeing two of the oldest viewers in my channel sleeping so defencelessly like that

It isn't, "don't judge a book by its cover" or "know the full story before you judge." Its about reaching, and finding out the real face.

Both the bad and good things you've done won't be overlooked. It will take some time but, "reach and you shall find."

But— that's just me, that's just something I learned from this ^ ^

I put the book down and looked outside the window. It was circular-shaped, just like the circular room it was in.

Sunlight poured in faintly. I spotted the ‘Outer Gods’ enjoying the sunbath in between the forest’s dense foliage. Some of them discovered me and waved their tentacles about. As if I was looking at a scary scene from a fairy tale or something, I continued to stare at those tentacles. It could very well be that their outer appearance didn’t reflect their true nature.

Now that I took a closer look, their movements seemed to be rather graceful, too.

I spoke up as if to rebel against that hollowness. “….Your life saved someone else’s.”

To someone who had lost so much, the truth of saving a kid whom he didn’t even know the name of wouldn’t be much of a consolation. The boy was someone completely unrelated to him, after all. That boy was not his comrade or his family member.

I tried to open my lips several times, yet I still couldn’t say anything else. The life I lived was no help whatsoever in the quest to save this guy.

The ‘Secretive Plotter’ looked at me struggling and spoke. [[When I first saw you, I believed that I needed to bring you under my wings.]]

This is a very serious scene but, Kim Dokja being Kim Dokja while smiling in Yu Junghyeok's body is funny for me. 😂

I spoke with a grin on my face. “It feels like that story is still continuing on even right now. And maybe, it is really continuing on. I feel relieved, actually.”

“Because, I’m a Constellation, you see.” As the Plotter’s expression hardened, I added something else with a cold voice. “Constellations are creatures like that.”

This was the answer I had chosen. This was the only way to not belittle him, even if it ends up hurting him.

Maybe this is connected to the ORV timeline. It didn't have a starting point, but it's something we can make sense of.

'Outer Gods' are beings from other dimensions that weren't saved. That would explain why Kim Dokja became an Outer God.

Now, I have 3 questions:

1. If OD's/KDJ's 'story' started when he first read the story, what were the memories all about before he turned 15? (Is the trauma he had fake or an image/illusion caused by what happened during and after 15? Or is it from another dimension when his soul got seperated and spread across the universe?)

2. The author and reader ended the novel in 10 years so why start at 15 when it ended at 28? (Is it a time jump? World skip? If so, then he didn't exactly read it for 10 years nor did he know the full story of the original Yu Junghyeok. That would also explain why therr's some parts about him that he doesn't understand. It just "seemed" like he read it for 10 years. It's either he read it for a longer or shorter time)

3. Why did he reincarnate at 15? (He started reading TWSA at 15, right? Kim Dokja often said that the novel "saved" him. So– why 15 and not younger when nothing saved him? Is it because that's the limit the <star stream>can do? Or is it because that was the age Han Suyeong knew about?)

These memories lacked any obvious starting point, and they were not consistently linked to each other, either. However, I was able to follow them. As if I was connecting the constellations that couldn’t be connected previously.

Perhaps only I was able to connect them in this world.

And in that moment, I understood.

I understood what the ‘Outer God’ was, why Yu Jung-Hyeok from the original story had to become one willingly.

….And, why he had no choice but to become the ‘Secretive Plotter’.

The story of pain that went on for tens of thousands, hundreds, maybe even for millions of years. Stories discarded by the world-line and couldn’t be acknowledged as ‘Fables’. And the fragments of Fables that became the subconsciousness of the worlds, drifting around in the universe and ruminating on the ancient memories. Finally, the voices of those that were not saved.

When you think about it, this applies to Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint's ending, other fandoms, and even reality.

Remember theories like Parallel Universes, Wormholes, the Egg theory, Reincarnations, and even countless interpretations of Heaven and Hell?

Somehow, everything is just one loop that already ended but still continues. There were tons of moments were mankind was supposed to go extinct. In some universe, that already happened, but like in this universe, the story of 'humans' continues along with other beings.

There is no end nor a beginning. Even the creation of Stars and universes are just one big loop.

The history that the ‘Secretive Plotter’ had lived through – every part of the ‘Ways of Survival’ he lived through was now protecting him.

They were stories that got discarded because they failed to reach the ‘Conclusion’.

I moved Yu Jung-Hyeok’s body again and lowered my posture towards them. When I reached out, one of the small Outer Gods bit the extended finger. Crimson blood formed on the tip of the bitten finger.

It was a lie that this world-line was a brand new story.
