It's been a year since the death of Jo Cox and I still think about it everyday. There has been a lot of hate and hurt and bad news recently, but what strikes me about this particular event is that surrounding it was such an outpouring of love and a message of togetherness. Jo would not have wanted us to fight and fall out and lose touch with each other, she was all about spreading hope. If you're taking part in this weekend's Great Big Get Together, which was arranged in her memory but really is more about making sure you cherish and appreciate all those people you hold dear and maybe making some new friends, have the best time.
