Bigleaf Periwinkle

Whenever anyone asked me what my favourite flowers were, I didn't really have an answer for them.

I like flowers, but I never felt especially drawn to any in particular. Until now, that is.

These are growing wild where I live at the moment, and I think they're gorgeous! I love their soft bluish colour, the way the petals get lighter towards the centre, and the adorable tiny star shape in the middle!

Thanks to Google, I now know they are called periwinkles, specifically Greater periwinkles (vinca major).

Also, they kinda remind me of the Moondrop flowers in the Bokumono series (except bluish purple instead of golden yellow)
