"it was really good and i had a great time." she couldn't help but smile as she spoke, tucking a blonde strand behind her ear. "did you.. want to come inside?" she asked, hesitating briefly since she didn't want to seem pushy. "we can watch a movie or something."

katie: had hung out with kc before, just the two of them so why did this time feel so.. different? maybe it was how the boy was acting towards her as of late or maybe katie was starting to see her friend in a particular light -- at this point, she was still sorting out her feelings but she wasn't necessarily complaining. she took a deep breath and her eyes widened once she heard a knock on her door. straightening up the living room, she swiftly walked towards the door and opened it, seeing the handsome blonde standing before her. "hey," she said simply before she noticed that he actually brought chinese /and/ pizza, just like he said he would. "wow, i didn't think you were serious," katie laughed as she moved to the side to let the boy enter.
