OUTRAGEOUS COINCIDENCE! For those who like my shows about absurd travels, you know I often have stories of almost impossible coincidences... I don't know why they happen to me so much either, but I am thrilled that none other than RACHEL MARR from my OFF THE WALL IN CHINA Show is coming up from the US to visit me in Vancouver this weekend! She was a total stranger whom I read about on Couch Surfing and wanted to try and connect with while I was in XIAN China (where she lived) but since I had a limited profile at the time, I was shy to send a note asking to couch surf.... at odds of 8.2 million to 1, She ended up being the FIRST person I randomly bumped into in this huge city while I was getting free water at McDonalds near the train station. She was touring other overseas guests and randomly stopped there. I asked for directions of these English speaking strangers (English is very uncommon to hear in China at all) and while she looked at my map... I asked, Um, this will sound really strange... but is your name Rachel Marr?!
