Fucking crazy night at Honolulu Airport. Grabbing a bite to eat before my flight home and I can hear the couple at the table in front of me. The guy is aggressively bitching about a few different things including flight costs, rental car costs, and telling the woman he's with she couldn't go to the bathroom. At one point she stood up and he vetbally got her to sit back down. He said she'd be arrested if she left him and he needs to keep eyes on her. I showed my waitress a text on my phone saying she needs to call security. While waiting for security I saw her stand up and grab her purse to leave. He stood up, bore down, grabbed her arm and pushed her back into her chair saying she wasn't going to disappear on him. The manager came by while we were waiting on security and asked me what I saw. Told him I'll make a statement after the cops got there. Airport rent a cops came first then the sheriff's. Sheriff's kept asking if I saw him physically touch her and I said yes, wrote out a statement, have them my contact information. Manager and waitress thanked me and bought my dinner and drinks. Now I just gotta calm down. I don't know what happened beyond that. Moral of the story is if something doesn't seem right it probably isn't. Say something, look out for others. .....
