for headcanons I guess I like to think monsters prefer plumper mates ?? idk I just like that idea lot :’’v I suppose it kinda goes with the whole ‘a monster won’t judge you the way a human does’ and I like that a lot

As a filthy Re/ylo myself I can confirm that I find 99% of the Star Was related stuff I read to be complete bullheck. Frankly my last bit of hope died around the time people were petitioning to have TLJ stricken from the official canon

I think SW fans just need to sit down and eat some bread. EVERYONE JUST EAT SOME FUCKIN’ BREAD.

I know that SW is just a cesspool for vehement fan theories (has been since the 80s), but good Lord’t, the amount of pain it’s caused me since being introduced by my bf to TFA is like exhausting. I don’t know how people have been doing it for so long.

(Also I think about that a lot. I didn’t like TLJ very much, but I think I lost about 5 years of my life seeing people starting a petition to get rid of the movie from canon ghhhhh.)

I absolutely had problems with TLJ too, despite enjoying it overall. But like goddamn watching some people get so wound up about this movie that they turn around and start praising the prequel trilogy as some kind of holy cinema is…sure some kind of something to witness. I think embarrassing. I’m gonna go with embarrassing.

I know the statement “it’s okay to like things that are bad” can be used for a lot of unsavory things, so I’m gonna be specific in saying “It’s okay to like movies you have issues with, and can even find it to be a good movie while other people disagree. Vise-versa, you can dislike a movie for its bad parts without asserting that IT JUST NEEDS TO STOP EXISTING” (unless it’s like... directly or socially bbbbad)

There’s movies that are objectively bad that you can love (I fucking love Space Jam for nostalgic value and ridiculousness) and there’s movies with some bad parts but otherwise are good (for you, that’s The Last Jedi, and for me that’s uh... fuckin’ *spins wheel* The live action Grinch?? I CAN’T THINK OF MOVIES I LIKE THAT ARE LIKE POLARIZING GUIKJHDF)

I also found the retroactive praise of the prequels very weeeeird. The aforementioned BF had me watch the prequels which came into my house, stole my car, and fucked my wife, but their incompetence I would not put near the TLJ whatsoever. 8/!!! THEY’RE SOOOO not the same like I’m sorry but I’m still reeling over the fact there was a petition for the movie to like not exist anymore oh my God. HOilkjfd
