hey how do you screencap a video? like what programme do you use?

Hey there friend!

I'm unsure if you're talking about the actual video, the process of taking the cap, or now to make the captions, so I'll just give you all three~

Firstly, the source I get my video from is Netflix. It costs money, but it's only seven bucks a month. It's actually super affordable, even on a somewhat stagnant bank account like mine!

To take the screencap, I maximize the player to full and I use the PrtSc key on my keyboard. I have a PC, and I'm not entirely sure how Macs work, but I'm pretty sure almost all keyboards have a PrtSc key.

Then I paste it into Photoshop (Fun fact: Adobe recently released the entire CS2 Suite for free download, very nifty!) and I caption it using the text tool. 

If you want me to go more indepth with the Photoshop bit, just ask, but that's essentially how I make PARCs. :)
