about a week ago, I stumbled upon the most magnificently colored teal fungi known as Green Elfcup or Green Wood Cup (Chlorociboria aeruginascens). I would have never found them if it weren’t for the fact that these mushrooms cause wood to turn green. and not just any shade of green, a vibrant color teal that almost looks unnatural! I gathered a bunch of them to see how they would look dried, hoping I could use them for my mini terrariums. it turns out they retain their color beautifully! so I give you teeny tiny C. aeruginascens infected logs inside mini terrarium rings! once I glue the domes on they should be available in the shop this Wednesday. (I’ll also have two mini terrarium pendants with green elfcups too for those who hate rings! 😉💚💙)
