Clearly, I'm not the only troubled by what's going on around me. We are living in extremely confusing times. What's right is wrong and what's wrong is right. People are being praised and getting away with murder, manipulation and so much more corruption. We don't have to believe the same things to have a conscious and compassion of what's going on in the world. Love, respect and integrity are just empty words and things of the past at this rate. CHAMPIONS don't change your character. Don't conform. We need YOU more than ever! DON'T DUMB DOWN YOUR MUSIC. BE DIFFERENT #Repost @malicamusic ・・・ Still am trying to wrap my head around this #greenfelltower situation and all the other tragic happenings that are consistently occurring more than ever ....I'm puzzled when people tell me I get too deep in my music... when they try to advise me to forget about the message and just keep it simple ...even with all of the destruction rising around us they still wonder why we individually and combined as the Cornastonaz make the music that we make.... if you're a musician and there is no purpose behind any of your music no motivation or inspiration behind your melodies that evoke emotion cause people to innately stand up and want to see things differently and strive for a change do us ALL a favor and QUIT .... the darkness is unbearable.... we all really have to do whatever we can to resonate light because remember where light avoids darkness invades and right now it's almost pitch black

Londra. E’ di almeno 12 morti e decine di feriti il bilancio dell’ incendio del grattacielo di edilizia popolare di 27 piani, la Grenfell Tower, a North Kensington, nel cuore di Londra, abitata da circa 500 persone della working class: decine di nazionalità e di età diverse.

Il bilancio però è provvisorio: sono infatti ancora decine i dispersi, fra cui due italiani, e di ora in ora diminuiscono le possibilità di ritrovarli in vita. Testimoni raccontano di scene raccapriccianti, con le persone intrappolate nella torre da 27 piani che si lanciava dalle finestre.

I residenti avevano denunciato più volte la carenza del sistema antincendio e le condizioni di sicurezza. Secondo i media inglesi, inoltre, il rivestimento del grattacielo sarebbe stato posizionato non tenendo conto delle necessità di sicurezza e della ignifugicità ma per risultare meno…disturbante nei confronti del vicino quartiere di milionari di Chelsea.

La Grenfell Tower è un palazzo di edilizia popolare, costruito negli anni Settanta. Nel primo decennio dei Duemila era arrivata la “riqualificazione”: 13 milioni di euro, con il posizionamento di una ventina di negozi a pianoterra. Da allora, solo guai: l’utilizzo di molto materiale in plastica e una serie di lavori elettrici, evidentemente fatti senza tenere conto della sicurezza, hanno portato a decine di allarmi per sovratensioni e incendi.

Nel mirino anche la premier conservatrice May: dal 2010 a oggi, infatti, sono stati eliminati 10mila posti di lavoro nei vigili del fuoco, chiudendo 41 stazioni dei pompieri, con una riduzione del budget del 30%.

Non solo: dal 2010 il Grenfell Tower Action Group, collettivo di residenti e abitanti del vicino quartiere popolare, denunciano la gentrificazione in corso nella zona, con gravissimi rischi per la sicurezza, dovuti alla speculazione immobiliare privata.
