You guys are seriously gonna send death threats and suicide baiting over a misunderstanding between the damn writers?
Instead of fighting this war, why don’t you just petition the writers until they can get their stuff together and figure out Lloyd’s age? Yes, he was most CERTAINLY a child during the first 2 seasons, but we know a few years have passed since the end of s2 and the current seasons. We don’t know how Lloyd has aged mentally. Has he aged at the same rate as normal people? Has it been sped up in order to catch up with Lloyd’s body? Or maybe has his mentally been stuck in place? We just Don’t Know and we can’t until the writers talk with each other and come to a good conclusion.
Besides, when you jump the gun to threats you activate something called the Backfire Effect. When you aggressively present information and opinions, instead of incorporating it, your mind perceives it as, guess what, an attack. Your mind works with emotions FASTER than logic and so since you don’t have time to process it before your emotions take over instead you retreat further into your quite possibly wrong beliefs because it sets off your fight or flight response.
Seems all you guys not only want to fight, but BOTH SIDES have their brains set on kill mode.
My point is, when you see something on this, step back, take a deep breath, and then try and see it from their perspective. And this is to both sides. Maybe Lloyd’s too young mentally for everyone else. Maybe he’s old enough. Without knowing how the sudden aging has properly affected him, we just can’t know. Fighting about it and trying to get each other killed only makes the fandom divided. We are a very small fandom. We don’t need to chase each other off just because the writers don’t have their shit together.
