These Green Harissa Turkey Burgers are packed with flavor and a hint of spice from the green harissa sauce. They're perfect for a delicious and slightly spicy twist on classic turkey burgers.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground turkey. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 2 tbsp green harissa sauce. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. 1/4 cup chopped green onions. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 burger buns. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Red onion slices. 4 slices of cheese optional.
Instructions: Ground turkey, breadcrumbs, green harissa sauce, chopped cilantro, chopped green onions, salt, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Mix everything together well. Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty. Warm up your grill or pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat. Put the burger patties on the grill or in the pan and cook them for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done all the way through and have grill marks. Cover the burgers for a minute or two at the end of cooking and put a slice of cheese on top of each one. This will melt the cheese. You can grill or toast the burger buns until they are lightly browned. Place lettuce leaves on the bottom bun of each burger, then the turkey patty, tomato slices, and red onion slices, with or without cheese. If you want, you can add more green harissa sauce and then top with the other bun halves. Your Green Harissa Turkey Burgers will taste great when they're hot.
