Hello fragrance friends and lovers what is your scent of the day ? For me it is a classic in the fragrance world called green irish tweed ! This was one of the first hyped fragrances and one one of the reasons why so many still consider creed the best fragrance house ever. I certainly don't think they are, but this was a good release. Suprisingly this isn't much of a green fragrance, it is more of a citrus floral, with oily lemon and clean voilet dominating this fragrance. I do think clary sage or even some basil has been snuck into the accords, but they are supporting notes, with ambergris comming through in the dry down. Creed has been cheapened their ambergris component of their fragrances, so that is sad to see. I get little sandalwood, but it does attempt to give some body and balances to the voilet as well. Overall this is a fragrance that was as popular as aventus, but i much preferred green valley and bois de Portuguel. So how do you feel or think about green irish tweed or creed ?
