To the well-written villains list, I would like to add: Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader from Star Wars too. Regardless the flaws of the movies, I think they did a great job making him a tragic villain. Diva from Blood+ also is a great female villain: both despicable and pitiable, and very tragic as well. Shogo Makishima from Psycho Pass is also great: cruel, chaotic and yet charismatic and philosophical. Light Yagami from Death Note too. The Joker too! They're very layered yet terrifying villains.

I was ACTUALLY going to add Vader you know? XD

But I thought...I don’t know....the prequels....but also there are the comics, maybe in there his “Vaderness” is more fleshed out and it makes him look better, but I haven’t read those so I can’t say...but if you tell me that I belive you Kaori n_n

The thing is, people often ship abusive or problematic ships, either because they have a kink or in the most extremes cases as a coping mechanism for their own abuse, yet they aknowledge their ship is fucked up. The bad thing is that in this site, this issue tends to fall in both extremes: some people actually try to excuse/justify that their ship isn't unhealthy/doesn't has problems when IT IS and on other hand there's the Morality Police who bully and shame people who ship those ships.

I’ve actually seen that A LOT in the Homestuck fandom, I remember following a girl who was a victim of abuse and stalking replying to someone who complained about Gamzee and Terezi Kismesis thing, she basically went on about how she supported the ship because it was a coping mechanism and she liked to image putting herself in Terezis place and suffering all that abuse, I didn’t keep reading after that, I got freaked out honestly.

I don’t see what there is to use as coping in those situations but I guess there is a trick to it, I’d prefer the psychiatrist honestly, but that’s just me.

And it’s sad for MadoHomu because it was Rebellion that brought this toxicity to the table, before this the ship was fine, it was the best out of the “Trinity of Aproved Ships by SHAFT” by a long stretch, but now, I don’t know, feel sorry for the people like you who don’t ship them in those circunstances.

What are your thoughts and theories about Rey's past and parentage? At this point, I think is *almost* (nothing confirmed yet) stated that she's Luke's daughter, the hints are too strong. While I think it's most likely that Kylo left her in Jakku and Luke may had made believe she was killed, it brings me more questions: how Luke didn't sensed his daughter? why the Ghosts didn't told him she was alive? Or Luke knew she was alive and tried to get her back but couldn't found her ubication?

Tbh I am…that weird fan who just doesn’t get that much into speculation? Like, I usually don’t develop headcanons until a canon is complete? So I honestly have very few thoughts right now as to your specific questions.

As to Rey’s parentage, though, I’ll say this:

At this point I’m about 80% sure she’s Luke’s daughter, 97% sure she’s Anakin and Padme’s granddaughter, and 100% sure she’s a Skywalker.

Wait, I hear you saying. What’s up with those percentages?

Okay. While I agree with you that the movie was dropping some pretty strong visual symbolism connecting Rey with Luke, they haven’t entirely ruled out some kind of shenanigans that would make her Leia and Han’s daughter. (It wold take more shenanigans to make it believable at this point, but let’s not lie, Star Wars has a long history of retconning and shenanigans when it comes to family relationships, so.)

What about that last 3%?

Well, I think the odds of this being canon are incredibly slim (…as indicated by the 3% lol), but I confess I really like the idea of Rey actually being another child of the Force, like Anakin. Not that she is Anakin, exactly, but something more similar to…

I mean, it would actually fit really well. Rey is the Aang to Anakin’s Roku. Ben is the Zuko to Anakin’s Roku. Only together can they restore balance.

The posts she reblogged earlier and that I liked disappeared from my likes, and when I tried to see her blog all I found was a “Not found” page, and while she’s still in my “follow” page, I can’t see anymore the content of her blog. I would hate to know her blog was deleted, it’s one of my favourite :/ Do someone know if she’s designing her blog or something like that, or if something happened to her blog?
