I binged a bunch of ROTTMNT comics recently (Cass Apocalypse Series by @somerandomdudelmao, everything in @pinetreevillain's masterpost and Greenline I reread twice, and Life Of Violence Era and the Jacob's Ladder AU by @tapakah0 to recommend a few) and finally watched the movie. TMNT 2012 was my jam growing up, and as I get back into the fandom as an adult, I'm really seeing why Rise appeals to so many.
One of my favorite things I've seen for Rise is Donnie and Leo being twins, and I love it in media when twins are able to feel when something big has happened to their twin. A really good example of this is CAS Episode 11 Part 11. What I propose is this: Leo felt it when Donnie died, and Donnie felt it when Leo lost his arm.
