Pantheon of Origin: Greek
Deity of: The Harvest
Design: Green Mamba Naga with red and gold eyes, dressed in golden armor and carrying a large silver sickle.
Deity Story: The tale of Cronus is an interesting one, to say the least. He was one of the first 12 Titans born from Gaia and Ouranos. Unfortunately, after Ouranos went and imprisoned his siblings; Cyclops and Hecatonchires, Cronus took up a silver sickle forged of adamantine by her mother and promptly castrated Ouranos. After his dad mellowed a bit, Cronus took his sister Rhea as his wife, and they bore the first gods: Hestia, Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, Hera and Zeus, not necessarily in that order.
Cronus was told of a prophecy that he'd be overthrown, and he devoured all but Zeus as a result. Long story short, Zeus and Metis managed to force Cronus to throw up his children, was overthrown, and after a decade-long war, was imprisoned in Tartarus. It's said that he swore vengeance, but it's unclear as to when.
Monster Info: The Titans are a problematic presence among the monsters; Cronus often goading Zeus into making rash decisions due to his heritage as his father. Mind you, Cronus was made long after Zeus was formed, but this is thoroughly mocked by the likes of Loki and Dionysus. Cronus himself is a master swordsman, using his large sickle to mutilate enemies and occasionally devour souls by biting them with his sharp teeth.
